GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -6)  24 July -28  July 2023 Teacher's Journey As the clock ticked to 9:00 AM on a bright Monday morning, a week of exciting exploration and learning began. I was determined to create an enlightening experience for my students, blending fun and education seamlessly. Throughout the week, we shared incredible moments that highlighted the power of creativity and interaction in education. This was the last week of our second phase teaching practice. We left the school on Friday.  The marks of achievement test was distributed to the students on Wednesday. Most of the students were above average but the result was not up to my expectations. I pointed out the mistakes they have committed and cleared the doubts they had.  We were about to leave the school on Friday so we made all the arrangements to distribute sweets to the students of our class as well as the teachers and we prepared ourselves to bid goodbye to the students. GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -6)  19 July -21  July 2023 This week was filled with activities related to moon day. There were various activities throughout the week, including seminars, quiz programs,collage making and exhibitions Day 1 This week I taught them a poem 'Song of a dream'. To make the class interesting, I asked them to write about their most favourite dream and they beautifully shared their dream. To make the class more engaging I incooperated videos and pictures. Overall the class was nice and I really enjoyed.  Day 2 The second day introduced a tech-savvy twist as Praveena and I embarked on a mission to upload an educational video about the Chandrayaan project. Navigating classrooms, we observed students engaging with the content through the video, bridging traditional teaching with modern technology. GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -4)  10 July -14  July 2023 Day 1 The week started with a sunny morning that filled us with positivity. Our task was to serve lunch, a part of the noon feed program. It was fascinating to see the well-balanced meals provided to the students. In class, I explored a new chapter "Maternity".Though it was teacher-centered, I guided the students through the content and provided valuable feedback. The experience made me appreciate the effectiveness of student-centered approaches for better engagement.  Day 2 Today was a special day as I needed to conduct a diagnostic test in my class,. I prepared the questions we'll in advance and made it in print form. All the questions was based on objective type with a total of 20 marks. They attende the questions seriously and with focussed mind Day 3 The routine continued with morning prayers and class-wise assemblies. A simple chapter, "Maternuty" was a part of my day. GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -4)  3 July -7  July 2023 Day 1 The week began with a chilly, rainy day that set a cozy mood. We arrived at school, drenched but determined. Our duty was to distribute the noon meal, and the school day ended in the afternoon. I stepped into my classroom for the second period and took the chapter 'Learning the Game". Videos and charts made the class active and engaging. A successful pronunciation drill and creative discourse activity wrapped up a productive day. Day 2 As the rain persisted, we arrived at school early to find a change in classrooms. Despite the challenges, we adapted and carried on. Our day was eventful with a special program, "The Kitty Show," promoting youth empowerment. We fulfilled our lunch duty and navigated through the day's lessons. The class explored metaphors and similes, fostering lively discussions and enriching our understanding. Day 3 Amid a regular morning, I crafted a lesson plan focusing on types of sentences.

GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -3)  26 June -30  June 2023 Day 1 Our week kicked off with a bit of nervousness as it was observation day. Teacher Reetha's visit added a sprinkle of excitement. We adjusted class arrangements and even witnessed an event against drug use. In my class, I used video and pictures to catch the attention of the students.The students were all ears during our discussions and even enjoyed videos related to our topic. Day 2 Tuesday brought a double dose of teaching. While distributing milk and serving meals, I assessed reading skills during a free period. In class, we continued our journey through "Learning the Game". This lesson seem to be very interesting to the studentas this was based on Sachin's sports life.  Day 3 After Eid holidays, we were back in action, braving rainy weather.
