REFLECTIVE JOURNAL -PHASE 2 (WEEK 4)

GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -4)
3 July -7 July 2023
Day 1

The week began with a chilly, rainy day that set a cozy mood. We arrived at school, drenched but determined. Our duty was to distribute the noon meal, and the school day ended in the afternoon. I stepped into my classroom for the second period and took the chapter 'Learning the Game". Videos and charts made the class active and engaging. A successful pronunciation drill and creative discourse activity wrapped up a productive day.

Day 2

As the rain persisted, we arrived at school early to find a change in classrooms. Despite the challenges, we adapted and carried on. Our day was eventful with a special program, "The Kitty Show," promoting youth empowerment. We fulfilled our lunch duty and navigated through the day's lessons. The class explored metaphors and similes, fostering lively discussions and enriching our understanding.

Day 3

Amid a regular morning, I crafted a lesson plan focusing on types of sentences. Engaging videos and interactive activities made learning enjoyable. The concept attainment model sparked curiosity, as students developed hypothesis. Later, a free period allowed me to assist students with note-taking,and clarifues the doubts.

Day 4

Despite classroom changes, the lessons continued smoothly. A diagnostic test gauged students' understanding, showcasing their eagerness to learn and improve. Later, a unit test challenged their knowledge, proving their dedication to the subjects. While missing the usual routine, the assessments brought a different sense of accomplishment.

Day 5

Anticipation filled the air as assessment took center stage. Diagnostic and unit tests marked the day, providing insights into students' progress. Though different from regular lessons, the assessments allowed me to measure growth and guide their learning journey. PTA meetings and exam preparations added unique dynamics to the day's activities.

This week was a blend of challenges and opportunities. From engaging lessons and special programs to assessments that showcased growth, each day had its own significance. As the week concluded, I looked back with a sense of accomplishment and eagerness for what lies ahead. The journey continues, filled with learning, adaptation, and the promise of brighter days in education.
