REFLECTIVE JOURNAL (WEEK 1) PHASE 1

GHSS CHERUNNIYOOR WEEK- 1
(26 OCTOBER 2022- 29 OCTOBER 2022) 


As a part of our teaching practice programme, we (Aparna, Anamika, Roshni and myself Anamika) are assigned to complete our practice programme in Govt H S S, Cherunniyoor. We went to the school on 26 th October and we met the Head Master and we submitted our attendance register. Later we went to our subject teacher (Sandhya miss) and enquired about our schedule and corrected our lesson plan of the day. We received a warm welcome. We went to the classes on the basis of the assigned timetable. I was supposed to take 8 th A.I  created a rapport with the students as it was our first class. I had very nice experience with the students. Then we went to serve food during the lunch break. Later there was an inauguration ceremony of the Spoken English class in the evening. At 
3:30 , we signed our register and left the school. 
 

27 October 2022 was the next day of our teaching practice. As usual we went to the school and signed our register. Then we went to our subject teacher and enquired about our timetable. Then we went our respective class and took the lessons.We took the class as per the lesson plan and their was a good respond from the students. Then we served food for the students in the lunch break. Then the school conducted a programme named 'Akhila Kerala. In this programme they conducted a quiz competition for the students. Then we continued our class and left the school. 

28 October 2022 was an important day for us. The school conducted an election for electing the class leaders.  After the morning assembly, teachers assigned us with various duties to be done during election process. We were so happy as we got an opportunity to participate in this election process. Later I had a class 8th A .During lunch break we served food for the students. Then after taking the class we left the school at 3:30pm. 

29 October 2022 ,we reached the school at 9:15 am. After signing the register we went to our respective classes and took our portion according to the lesson plan. The students were very cooperative during my class and responded to every questions that was put forward. During lunch break we served food for the students. Later we left the school as we wanted to report to our college for signing our lesson plan. So we left the school ath 1:00pm.

GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -6)  24 July -28  July 2023 Teacher's Journey As the clock ticked to 9:00 AM on a bright Monday morning, a week of exciting exploration and learning began. I was determined to create an enlightening experience for my students, blending fun and education seamlessly. Throughout the week, we shared incredible moments that highlighted the power of creativity and interaction in education. This was the last week of our second phase teaching practice. We left the school on Friday.  The marks of achievement test was distributed to the students on Wednesday. Most of the students were above average but the result was not up to my expectations. I pointed out the mistakes they have committed and cleared the doubts they had.  We were about to leave the school on Friday so we made all the arrangements to distribute sweets to the students of our class as well as the teachers and we prepared ourselves to bid goodbye to the students.
