REFLECTIVE JOURNAL WEEK - 3 (PHASE 1)

GHSS CHERUNNIYOOR (WEEK -3) 
NOVEMBER 7 2022- NOVEMBER 11) 
 
The third week of teaching practice began on 7 November and ended on 11 November. As part of the NSS, we made a small garden and many new flowers sprouted from it. We were so happy to see this. The students also helped us to maintain this garden. Teachers also appreciated us for our effort. This week I  observed the class of Roshni and Anamika and I also gave a feedback to them. Last week I completed my portions in 8A. And this week I was assigned 9C.From the first class itself , I was able to make a good rapport with the students. They were very energenic and also attentive through out my class. I also got  substitution hours in 8A, 9 B, 8B.I made them to read the textbook, asked some general knowledge questions and also made them to do some activities . I made sure that I got the sign for  my lesson plan and teaching aids. I really started enjoying my teaching practice days and I became a responsible teacher as well.

GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -6)  24 July -28  July 2023 Teacher's Journey As the clock ticked to 9:00 AM on a bright Monday morning, a week of exciting exploration and learning began. I was determined to create an enlightening experience for my students, blending fun and education seamlessly. Throughout the week, we shared incredible moments that highlighted the power of creativity and interaction in education. This was the last week of our second phase teaching practice. We left the school on Friday.  The marks of achievement test was distributed to the students on Wednesday. Most of the students were above average but the result was not up to my expectations. I pointed out the mistakes they have committed and cleared the doubts they had.  We were about to leave the school on Friday so we made all the arrangements to distribute sweets to the students of our class as well as the teachers and we prepared ourselves to bid goodbye to the students.
