REFLECTIVE JOURNAL WEEK 5(PHASE 2)

GHSS CHERUNIYOOR (WEEK -4) 
(30 JANUARY 2023- 3 FEBRUARY 2023) 


This was the second last week of our Teaching Practice. As this week was Martyr day, the school had special assembly and students conducted various programmes during assembly session. This week we took time to prepare the diagnostic and achievement tests.Anamika and I together prepared the test based on the lessons of 9th standard. We proofread the questions many times and sent it to Reetha ma'am and we got the tests corrected from her and we planned to put the test the very next day. Thursday we put the diagnostic test and each of the student teachers corrected their papers and gave back the answer sheets to the students the next day.
           Also, this week we had Principal's visit to our school. Sheeba ma'am shared her time and words with us and she corrected our records and reflective jouranals and went back. This week too I got substitution periods and I engaged the students with different language games and reading games.

GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -6)  24 July -28  July 2023 Teacher's Journey As the clock ticked to 9:00 AM on a bright Monday morning, a week of exciting exploration and learning began. I was determined to create an enlightening experience for my students, blending fun and education seamlessly. Throughout the week, we shared incredible moments that highlighted the power of creativity and interaction in education. This was the last week of our second phase teaching practice. We left the school on Friday.  The marks of achievement test was distributed to the students on Wednesday. Most of the students were above average but the result was not up to my expectations. I pointed out the mistakes they have committed and cleared the doubts they had.  We were about to leave the school on Friday so we made all the arrangements to distribute sweets to the students of our class as well as the teachers and we prepared ourselves to bid goodbye to the students.
