REFLECTIVE JOURNAL -PHASE 2 (WEEK 1)
GVHSS, NJEKKAD (WEEK -1)

Day 1
As part of B. Ed Internship programming, I got GVHSS, Njekkad for teaching practice. This phase of my teaching practice began on 14 th June 2023 and will end on 1st August 2023 and it was really a stepping stone to my teaching career. I planned many things and prepared myself for the successful completion of internship programme.
On the first day, I reached the school at 9:20 am. Our group contains varios subject students from our college. At first, we went to sign the regiater. The we saw our principal Santhosh Sir and he gave necessary instruction regarding the school. Then we went to a class room which was alloted for us to sit. My optional teacher Fousiya miss was absent today. I was alotted with the class 9 K in the 3 rd period. The students welcommed me with a smile. As it was the first day, I had an interactive session with the students . The students were very active and engaging. I also gave an introduction of the lesson that I was going to take in the next day. During the lunch break, we distributed food to the students. After having our lunch we signed the register. And by 3:45 pm we left the school. This was a memorable day for me. I remembered the whole experience with the children engaging and being attentive in the class.
Day 2
As usual, we reached the school at 9:15 am. At first we went to the office for signing the attendance. And we met our optional techer for getting sign in the lesson plan. My optional miss was present today and she gave instructions to me. At 11:00 am, we had a meeting in the seminaf hall which was arranged for B ed teachers. Sir gave necessary instructions to be followed during the school time. Then I had class in the 3 rd period. Firstly I created a report with the students and they listened carefully to the lesson taught. The students were very excited to watch the teaching aid and also were attentive throughout my class. Then during lunch break, we distributed food to the students. Then last hour I again had a class in 9k . I continued my lesson and gave activities and homework to them. The students were very much concerned and loving. They also asked doubts in between my class and I clarified it clearly. Overall, the day was good.
Day 3
As usually we reached the school at 9:15 a.m. We went to the office for signing the attendance and later went to see optional teacher for getting sign in the lesson plan. The teacher was very cooperative and I was able to say day to day experience with the teacher. During the four period I went to 9k to take the portion. Students were very eager to listen to my class. They also asked doubt in between my class. Then I gave activities and homework session to I also ask him to collect the work which was given yesterday. They completed the homework well and neatly. During lunch break we served food for the students later we had our lunch and signed the register. Last hour principal came to our class and told us to guide the students to move out in a disciplined way. We did our duty and left the school by 3:40 p.m.
